Rallies & Group Bookings
Our Grove field is a level, sheltered 2.5 acre field. There are 42 hookups available – 34 of these are edge pitches and the remainder are opposite the edge pitches.
Sections of the field can be booked for smaller groups at times. Please ask for details.
There is a water point and chemical disposal point within the field and this is shared with the adjacent Buzzard field. Please note however that these fields are in a self-contained area that does not form part of the main park. The toilet and shower facilities of the main park are not part of the rally field facilities although we may allow access to these facilities outside of peak times.
To qualify for discounted group prices, the rally organiser must collect the pitch fees from individual members. The price band is based on the average number of units over all the nights booked rather than the peak number. The free unit(s) are only available when the appropriate numbers of paying units are present and not for any extra nights.
Pitches with electric hookup have a 10 amp supply (Early/late season users please note that the electricity supply to the field will not be sufficient to supply constant electric heating for all units!)
One unit is a either a caravan, motorvan or tent. Any unit can add one extra (awning, pup tent or extra car). The fees include the occupants
Rally Terms & Conditions
- The rally officer should report to reception on arrival and therefore other rally members do not need to come to our reception, instead they may go straight to the designated rally field.
- The rally field will not be available for occupation before or after the booked dates unless special arrangements have been confirmed. Rally members are welcome to stay on the main park before or after the rally but this will be subject to the normal park fees.
- The electric hook-ups provide a 10-amp supply. Early/late season users please note that the electricity supply to the field will not be sufficient to supply constant electric heating for all units at the same time and individual rally members are therefore advised to use gas heating to ensure a consistent supply.
- A unit for the purpose of price will consist of up to
- 1 large caravan and either 1 awning or 1 small (2 man) tent OR
- 1 large (family) tent and 1 small (2 man) tent.
- The shower facilities on the main touring park are not designated as facilities available to be used by rally members. You will however be able to use the showers during quiet times (before 7am, between 10am and 5pm or after 9pm). Driving to the toilet/shower blocks is not allowed
- Communal tents/gathering places should be situated away from the main park and other groups to minimise the chance of noise disturbance.
- The rally field shall be left tidy and free from litter.
- All rallies must have a designated Rally Officer who will be responsible for ensuring that rally participants abide by the park’s rules.
- Rally members must also comply with the park’s standard code of conduct.
- Anyone disregarding these requirements or acting in an unreasonable manner will be asked to leave the park without refund.
