Bagwell Farm is located in beautiful countryside next to the World Heritage “Jurassic Coast”. It’s just off the B3157 out of Weymouth and a great base to explore all Dorset has to offer. The route from Weymouth is easy for caravans and large motorvans.
Our postcode is DT3 4EA, grid reference 50.6348,-2.5272 and what 3 words lowest.footballers.dome
Bagwell Farm is off the B3157 West of Weymouth, between Chickerell and Portesham. Approach via the A354 from Dorchester to Weymouth.
Follow signs for Portland and Town Centre until you pick up signs for Chickerell and Abbotsbury and the B3157. Follow the B3157 out of town and Bagwell is a mile past Chickerell on the left at the top of the hill – 100 yards after “The Victoria Inn”.
Also reachable from the West via Bridport and Portesham but be aware that the B3157 is not an easy tow route through Abbotsbury so this is best avoided unless you are travelling in a small vehicle.
Sat Nav may indicate that you have reached your destination on arrival at the edge or centre of our postcode area. You may need to keep going for half a mile or so until you see us. You will see our signs clearly each side of the main entrance.
Weymouth has rail links to London and Bristol.
The X53 bus runs the length of the Heritage Coast and stops at the “Victoria Inn”, where there is a footpath to Bagwell. We are also easily found from the South West Coast Path.
