We would like to help to make your holiday easy so if there is anything that we can do to help then do let us know. Our friendly, approachable staff are always happy to assist in any way.
If there is something that is really important then please ask when you book as it may be too late to change your pitch or have someone available to help when you arrive. If you need a quieter area, or a pitch close to facilities then we will try to reserve the perfect pitch for you.
We cater for tents, touring vans and motor vans. Pitches are usually allocated in advance - please discuss special requirements at the time of booking as we may not be able to meet them later. You can talk to us by phone, email or social media messaging. We are happy to accept type talk calls. Our friendly reception team will do all they can to help with any requests ... If we don't know the answer to your question we will do our best to find out!
There is an arrivals bay immediately outside shop and reception and, if you have prebooked, we will come to your vehicle to get you checked in (there may be short queues at busy times). You can usually park your car on your pitch - let us know if you need any special arrangements or have a larger or commercial vehicle. The reception area is located within the shop building (see below)
The park is set in a valley - most of the site is sloping in nature - many pitches are terraced offering a level pitch which is reached via an uphill road. Level pitches near the toilet/shower facilities are available but should be requested at the time of booking. We can also offer pitches that are in a quieter area Site roads are of tarmac, concrete or firm chippings. Reception staff are happy to send a site map and advise on suitable pitches at the time of booking.
There are two accessible shower rooms, these have a shower, toilet and washroom. These are kept locked. You can get access with your own RADAR key or borrow one from the shop/reception (£10 returnable deposit).
Access to the shop is by a gentle ramp with a doorway 950mm wide. We are open all year round and, when the weather is inclement, we have a smaller entrance door open only 660mm wide, however staff are able to open this quickly to the full 950mm width. The friendly shop team are more than happy to assist you - with a chair or with finding / reaching items. Access to the unmanned information kiosk requires negotiation of a small step – we are happy to fetch all the information you need.
The outside seating area is on level paving stones/flagstones. Access to the bar is through a doorway 1100mm wide. There are two seating areas with a range of circular/rectangular tables. Tables and chairs can all be moved on request. There is one accessible toilet within the bar area (reached from inside the building).
We understand memory loss and we are happy to repeat ourselves repeat ourselves. If you have a wanderer, just let us know! Please let us know what your perfect pitch would be like and we will do our best to help!
