Summary of Booking Terms & Conditions (please get in touch if you would like to clarify any details or check how these might apply to your situation)

1. We reserve the right to refuse any booking and/or to refuse entry on arrival if the unit or declared occupants do not match your booking or to ask any customer to leave if they act unreasonably towards our staff or other guests.   In this case, fees will not be refundable unless the pitch can be re-let when a proportion of fees might be refunded.

2. Extra guests, cars, tents etc may be allowed when they do not exceed the pitch capacity and are pre-booked & paid at least 24 hours before arrival. Day visitors may be allowed, and these must also book and pay at reception.  All additional cars must park off the pitch in a designated parking area agreed with reception.

3. Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit of £40 per week. Balances are payable 7 days before arrival. Bookings will be cancelled without refund of deposit if the balance is not paid on time so do get in touch if your payment could be delayed.

4. We can only take a limited number of group bookings.  By groups, we mean people that you know (whether from the same household or separate ones) that you will spend time with while staying at the park.  This applies whether you have booked under one name or separate names.

We need you to tell us at the time of booking if you are spending time with other people at the park so that we can allocate you pitches with enough room to meet up.  We may not be able to add to your booking later and undeclared groups will be asked to leave.

5. All guests and visitors must agree to abide by the Responsible Visitor Pledge (see below).

6. We will agree an arrival time with you.  Pitches can normally be booked for an arrival time that is after 12 noon before 9pm on your arrival day.  Pitches must be vacated by 11 a.m. on the date of departure unless earlier or later times have been agreed and confirmed on your booking.

7. Any property left behind on departure (including a caravan, motor van or tent) will be considered abandoned and may be sold to cover storage fees unless storage arrangements have been made, paid for and confirmed in writing.

Responsible Visitor Pledge

For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, we ask you to commit to:

1. Respecting the safety, peace and privacy of our staff, our neighbours and other site users by:

+ Staying at home if you (or anyone in your household) has even mild symptoms of a contagious illness.

+ Following any government health restrictions and guidelines still in place for either your home or the park’s address.

+ Keeping noise to a minimum so that other campers are not disturbed.

+ Not entering or taking “short cuts” through another customer’s pitch.

+ Ensuring that all children (under 18) are supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Please don’t allow your children to use scooters or bikes at excessive speeds or to endanger, frighten or annoy other campers.

+ Sticking to our strict 5mph speed limit and use all roads in accordance with public highway rules.  Highway rules will also apply to electric scooters.

+ Keeping your dog with you and on a short lead (2m maximum) at all times (even in the dog walk areas) and keeping all “doggy business” off the camping area. Pick up and bin all poo on the park and local walks.

+ Not having visitors on the park unless these have been pre-booked and paid for with Reception.

+ Remembering that this is a natural environment and surfaces are uneven. Not all areas of the park are lit so please carry a torch after dark.

2. Respecting the wildlife and natural environment on and around the park by:

+ Not disturbing the wildlife, neighbouring farm animals or crops (another reason for dogs on leads)

+ Using only gas or charcoal barbeques (no flames, fires or firepits) and keeping these raised off the grass.

+ Not using disposable barbeques anywhere else, especially on picnics away from the park in places where fires can start.

+ Not launching Chinese lanterns or fireworks from the site or surrounding area.

3. Supporting small businesses in the local economy where you can.

+ Buy local

+ Eat out

+ Support local charities and events

We reserve the right to make reasonable amendments to these terms without prior notice where necessary including when required by a change in government restrictions. Anyone not observing them or acting in an unreasonable manner will be asked to leave the park without a refund.
