Connecting With Nature
This is an amazing place to connect with nature. Explore the footpaths, bridlepaths and coastal path and see just how many birds, animals and insects you can spot. Check out our spotter board outside the shop to see what has been seen.

Look out for the nature board outside the shop and reception – see if you can find anything that we don’t have listed!
We love caring for our natural environment. We joined the Green Tourism Business Scheme to validate our efforts and have been graded Gold every year since 2009.

We entered the Dorset Tourism Awards & won Gold in the “Responsible, Ethical and Sustainable Tourism Award” in 2017, 2018 and 2019. In 2019-2020 we also won Bronze in the South West Tourism Awards. We were one of the four most Sustainable businesses in the South-West to be selected to represent the region in the National Finals!
As well as looking after the beautiful countryside, we work hard to reduce our use of scarce resources – especially water and power. We love to recycle – and to upcycle too!
We use greener cleaning products – each selected to reduce transport, packaging and the impact on the environment after it is used.

Working with Nature – Our Sustainability Policy
We at Bagwell Farm Touring Park believe in to doing all we can to help to protect and sustain our local environment. We would prefer to enhance rather than spoil our natural surroundings.
We hope that taking an environmentally and socially responsible approach will result in
- a better holiday experience for all our customers,
- a better working environment for our staff,
- a positive effect on our local communities and
- a better habitat for our wildlife
both now and in the future.
You can help support this approach while you are here – just by doing the things you’re probably already doing at home.
We ask you to try to
- Save energy – turn things off when you are not using them (and don’t leave things on standby)
- Recycle as much of your rubbish as you can. Or leave re-usable items in our charity corner.
- Have one or more “Car Free” days – walk, cycle or take the bus – see our information folder in reception for lots of ideas!
- Respect Nature – make sure your litter goes in the bin, guard against fire and keep your dog on a lead.
- Shop Local – try local products from local businesses…. It all helps to keep our area special
Ask a member of the reception team for more information about our “green projects” – or look out for the posters around the park.
Have a great holiday – and thank you.
